C.B.F. at Syracuse University and Onondaga Community College

Syracuse, NY

Syracuse is home to the 2003 NCAA Basketball Champion Orangemen! 2003 is also the year CBF Staff workers Paul and Sandy Jewell are planning to move into their new housing location near the campus. (Check for a phone number and address change in the location list on this web site.) The past year has involved commuting to campus from 12 miles away and relocating both the group and individual Bible studies to other locations. They are thankful for the house provided by our church, but will be glad to be back near the students.

CBF activities include the Bible studies at the Onondaga Community College campus on Wednesdays at 11:00 AM and at Syracuse University on Fridays at 7:30 PM. Individual Bible studies are held at the chapel on campus, students’ apartments, or some other location on campus convenient for the students. Space in the athletic center was unavailable for the athletes’ Bible study first semester but should be freed up so we can resume 2nd semester.

Fall activities have included cookouts and a hike up Bald Mountain in the Adirondacks. Several new students are involved in CBF this year. We look forward to continuing to minister to the students and staff of Syracuse University and Onondaga Community College.
